Maintenance Operation Technology Support Technician

Calvin Myers serves in a hands-on technology support role that helps keep school technology working across the district. His work includes supporting computer hardware and software, troubleshooting devices and systems, assisting with basic network needs, installing equipment, processing support tickets, helping with inventory procedures, assisting staff, and supporting parents and students with Chromebooks, SIS access, student emails, passwords, and other technology needs.

This role is important because the district needs reliable daily technology support at the school-site level. Calvin's work helps teachers, students, staff, and families receive direct assistance when technology needs to be repaired, installed, moved, configured, or supported.

Calvin helps keep the district's technology working day to day. His role is service-based, hands-on, and operational. He supports the technology tools people use directly.

Anthony Pulido

Director of Technology Services

Anthony Pulido serves in a districtwide classified management leadership role responsible for the overall direction, stability, security, planning, and performance of technology services across Helendale School District. The Director of Technology Services is not simply a technical support position. It is an executive-level technology leadership role responsible for making sure the district's technology systems are planned, protected, documented, cost-effective, legally compliant, and aligned with student learning and district operations.

As Director of Technology Services, Anthony provides vision and leadership for all technology services, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, instructional technology integration, data systems, and communication platforms. He oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of district hardware, software, communications, and security systems that support the district's educational and operational needs. His responsibilities include leading strategic technology planning, managing cybersecurity protocols, supporting data security, enforcing technology policies, developing budgets and procurement plans, supervising technical staff, collaborating with instructional leaders, managing the district website, and preparing reports and presentations for the Board of Trustees.

Anthony is responsible for leading the entire technology program. He is accountable for where technology is going, how it is protected, how it is funded, how it supports instruction, how risks are reduced, how systems are documented, how staff are supported, and how the Board and district leadership understand the value and direction of technology.

Department Mission

Together, the Director of Technology Services and Maintenance Operation Technology Support Technician provide Helendale School District with both executive-level technology leadership and direct daily technical support. This two-person team works to ensure that technology is not only planned and managed responsibly at the district level, but also delivered reliably and practically at the classroom and site level where students, teachers, and staff depend on it every day.

The Technology Department's leadership approach is grounded in transparency, accountability, fiscal responsibility, continuous improvement, and practical service to students, staff, families, district leadership, and the Board of Trustees.
